Early Learning School Readiness Program
Our Early Learning School Readiness program environments are engaging spaces where children’s natural curiosity for the world around them is encouraged and valued. We offer high quality early childhood education through play and inquiry-based learning experiences that nurture the development of skills such as:
- Reading readiness
- Mathematics
- Science and discovery
- Creative arts
- Music and movement
- Imaginative and social play
- Sensory and tactile
- Fundamental movement
The Early Learning School Readiness Program is designed to help pre-school aged children develop and practice the skills that will help prepare them for kindergarten. Play and inquiry-based experiences, based on the children’s interests, are thoughtfully planned and created by a Registered Early Childhood Educator to reinforce these skills. Children will practice social and self-help skills with their peers, while also learning to follow routines. The goal of the Program is on the overall development and well-being of the whole child, and their positive introduction to the world of kindergarten. The half-day program is offered from 9:00a.m. until 11:30a.m., Monday to Friday, and follows the school year calendar. It is for children 3-4 years old who will be enrolled in kindergarten in the following school year.
